Darren De Kock, of Halfway Toyota Scottburgh has proven he’s the best of the best.
He recently took first place in Toyota SA’s National Skills Olympiad, in the Automark vehicle division.
Darren also won the New vehicle Skills Olympiad in 2008, and has become the first person ever to win both New and Automark National Skills – no easy accomplishment.  Well Done Darren!
In 2009 ,the Automark National Skills trophy was also won by a member of the Halfway Group, by Craig Pickering from Halfway Howick.
Darren has been with Halfway Toyota for 13 years and believes that to be truly world class, one must adopt a Toyota philosophy called Kaizen. Kaizen is ‘continuous improvement’ in all facets of life. Your ability to constantly improve in an ever changing market place and to exceed customer expectations is a big step in becoming world class.
Well done again to Darren on this outstanding achievement.
